I am an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Prior to joining BSU, I was an Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina Aiken. I completed my doctoral training at Indiana University Bloomington where I worked with Dr. Amanda Diekman in the Social Roles Lab.
My research interests center broadly around motivation and goal pursuit, stereotyping and prejudice, and diversity science. I have a particular interest in utilizing social psychological research to address disparities in STEM education and the workforce.
Outside of teaching and research, I am a horror movie fan, dachshund lover, and professional Stardew Valley farmer.
